You have the ability to channel your ki into searing waves of energy. Immediately after you the attack action on your turn, you may spend 2 ki points to cast the burning hands spell as a bonus action.
A thin sheet of flame shoots forth from your palm. Each creature in a 15-foot cone must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 3d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The fire ignites any flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
You may spend additional ki points to cast this spell at Higher Levels. Each additional increased the spells level by 1, the damage increases by 1d6 for each level above 1st.
The maximum number of ki points (2 plus any additional points) you can spend on this spell equals half your monk level
You can use your attack action to hurl a searing bolt of magical radiance.
You are proficient with this attack, add your proficiency bonus and dexterity modifier to the attack roll. The attack deals 1d4 + your Dexterity modifier in radiant damage.
When you take the attack action on your turn and use this special attack as part of it, you may spend 1 ki point to make the special attack twice as a bonus action.
When you gain the extra attack feature, this special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the attack action
The damage dice increases to a D6 at your 5th monk level, a D8 at your 11th monk level, and a D10 at your 17th Monk level.
