You touch one willing creature. Once before the spell ends, the target can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to one ability check of its choice. It can roll the die before or after making the ability check. The spell then ends.
This spell repairs a single break or tear in an object you touch, such as broken chain link, two halves of a broken key, a torn clack, or a leaking wineskin. As long as the break or tear is no larger than 1 foot in any dimension, you mend it, leaving no trace of the former damage.
+ Mend life: You can cast this cantrip as a bonus action. When cat in this way, you can target a creature that has taken damage since the end of your last turn. If the creature is organic, it will restore a number of hit points equal to your Intelligence modifier.
This spell can physically repair a magic item or construct, but the spell can't restore magic to such an object.
