You choose an object that has resisted being identified by a traditional Identify spell as a result of celestial or demonic means. After receiving the blessing of a cleric whose alignment matches the resistance encountered, you must touch the object throughout the casting of the spell, making a spell attack and adding the 1d4 of the bless spell to your roll. If the result is high enough, the resistance is overcome and you can learn what properties were hidden by the resistance, i.e advanced properties, how to use them, restrictions on attunement, and if an object has a potential awakened state.
If you instead touch a creature throughout the casting, you learn if a curse is currently affecting it and possibly how to break such a curse
