(requires attunement by a Spellcaster with spell slots) While wearing this ring, you are able to regain spell energy where it would be wasted. Whenever you expend a spell slot to cast a spell that causes a single creature to make a saving throw, if that creature would succeed and cause the spell to have no effect, that spell’s energy returns to you and is stored in the ring.
During a short rest, the wearer can spend 10 minutes focussing on the ring to restore a number of spell slots equal to the spells stored in the ring. For example, if you cast Gaes and Cause Fear in the same day, and both targets succeed (causing the spell to have no effect), you would regain a 1st Level and 5th Level spell slot.
The ring resets and loses all spells stored after the wearer finishes a long rest.
